As part of his review of two proposed health-care system mergers to evaluate their compliance with state law, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison says his office is soliciting public comment.
On July 12, St. Luke’s Duluth and Wisconsin-based Aspirus Health signed a letter of intent to merge.
On July 27, Duluth-based Essentia and Wisconsin-based Marshfield also ed a letter of intent to merge.
Minnesotans may offer input by calling the Attorney General’s Office.
Ellison is also holding a community meeting Oct. 25th on the University of Minnesota Duluth Campus.
Ellison says he will incorporate the information the public provides into his review of the proposed mergers.
