A 31-year old Grand Forks driver faces several after driving through the yard of a residential home on the 1900 block of 10th Avenue North.
Grand Forks police say they responded to a hit and run in progress just after 3:30 p-m on Sunday. Officers were able to locate the suspect a few blocks away. During the crash a fence was damaged and a power pole was snapped near the base. Xcel Energy was called in to stabilize the pole until repairs can be made.
The driver faces charges of leaving the scene of an accident…reckless driving…and DUI. There were no injuries.
