The City of Grand Forks is getting close to unveiling the new look city council chambers. The final touches on the $1.8 million dollar make-over are being put in place with the goal of holding the first meeting in the room on September 18th.
The upgrades included better seating and sight lines…more natural lights…improved technology…and renovated restrooms.
During the construction the council moved its meetings across the street into the HIVE building.
The chamber was last renovated in 1992.
