Plenty of spuds went down the hatch at last night’s (Thursday) French Fry Feeding Frenzy at University Park in Grand Forks. Participants consumed 4,212 pounds of fries as part of the annual Potato Bowl event. That’s more than the 3,360 pounds of fries served up last year – but less than the 2017 record of 8,154 pounds. Potato Bowl festivities conclude Saturday with a parade and the football game between UND and Northern Arizona.
