With the upcoming departure of Western Illinois from the Missouri Valley Football Conference in 2024, the league had to reshuffle the conference schedules. Even with the changes, North Dakota will still have seven total home games in the 2024 season for the first time since 2013.
The first four non-conference opponents remain on their regularly scheduled dates, but a trip to Youngstown State on Oct. 26 was added to the schedule. Other than hosting South Dakota on Nov. 16, all other MVFC scheduled contests were moved to different dates. The Fighting Hawks will also have its bye week on Oct. 12 instead of Sept. 28.
Kickoff times, broadcast coverage and the promotional schedule for 2024 will be released at a later date.
This Saturday, North Dakota will kick off the 2023 season with Drake inside the Alerus Center at 3 p.m.
