Goebel has a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Bemidji State University, a Bachelor of Science in business management from the University of Mary, and a Master of Business Administration from University of Mary.
He is a Veteran of the North Dakota Army National Guard and a certified healthcare finance professional by the Healthcare Finance Management Association.
He has been with Altru for 13 years and previously served as director of finance.
