Despite an achilles tendon injury, North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum says he will take part in tonight’s (Wed’s) first Republican Presidential debate in Milwaukee.
While playing basketball last night, Burgum was injured and taken to a hospital.
Shortly after 4:00 PM today, Burgum put out a social media post, simply stating: “I’m in.”
It was accompanied by a photo of Burgum on crutches, taken when he was visiting the debate venue earlier this afternoon.
The two-hour debate is scheduled for 8:00 PM Central time.
