The average price of a gallon of gas in North Dakota continues to slowly climb.
According to the Triple-A the national average has been hovering around $3.82 for the past ten days.
The Triple-A’s Andrew gross says we appear to be at a fork in the road when it comes to which direction gas prices will take. Gross says the summer heat suppressed refinery production has eased for now so you have to look at the cost of oil to determine if prices will continue to climb.
The current average is 28 cents more than a month ago but 19 cents less than a year ago.
North Dakota’s current average is $3.78 a gallon. Minnesota sits at $3.80.
