One of the two Fargo police officers wounded by a gunman last month has left Fargo’s Sanford hospital.
The Fargo P-D says Officer Andrew Dotas was released on Saturday.
Dotas and fellow Officer Tyler Hawes were both wounded when Mohamad Barakat opened fire on them as they responded to a traffic crash on July 14.
Police officials say Hawes is continuing his recovery…and they say the department “looks forward to announcing his release from Sanford Health in the future.”
Officer Jake Wallin was killed in the incident …and a bystander was wounded before a fourth officer shot and killed Barakat..
