A 33-year-old Pelican Rapids (MN) man has pleaded guilty in a child sex sting investigation out of Stearns County.
Authorities say Joshua Jansen admitted to a felony charge of engaging in electronic communication relating to or describing sexual conduct with a child.
An undercover officer with the Central Minnesota Human Trafficking Task Force set up the profile of a teen-age girl in an online chat room last July.
According to court records, Jansen made contact and initiated a sexual conversation.
Jansen is also accused of sending explicit pictures, and soliciting the girl for sex.
Sentencing is scheduled in September.
