Authorities in Minnesota’s Stearns County say alcohol is believed to be a factor in a Saturday afternoon watercraft accident that injured two juveniles.
The accident occurred on a lake (Watab Lake) near St. Joseph.
According to the County Sheriff’s Office, the juveniles were riding on a tube behind a jet ski.
The jet ski was said to be close to shore when the tube hit a dock, injuring both juveniles.
One was flown by air ambulance to Children’s Hospital in the Twin Cities with serious injuries. Another was transported by ambulance to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
