
Authorities say a 20-year-old Bagley (MN) man drowned on Sunday evening.
The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office received a call around 8:15 PM, about a possible drowning at Lake Lomond in Bagley.
The caller said Derek McCann jumped off a swimming raft at the public beach and had not been seen since.
Law enforcement began searching the area around the raft. The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team was called in to assist.
Finally, at about 11:15 PM, McCann’s body was located in approximately 18-feet of water.
An autopsy will be performed.
