Authorities in Minnesota’s Cass County say the bodies of a man and a woman have been found at a residence in rural Pillager, west of Brainerd.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says, at about 10 AM on Monday, it received a request for a welfare check at the residence.
Deputies located a 63-year-old woman and a 64-year-old man deceased inside.
Their identities are being withheld pending notification of family.
Autopsies are scheduled with the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Authorities say there is no threat to public safety.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting with the investigation.
