According to a new AAA survey, 82% of North Dakotans plan to travel this year.
More than half (59%) of them will take a summer vacation. However, only one in five (20%) of summer travelers have finalized their plans.
The most popular vacations they’re planning are:
40% – Lake Destination
37% – National/State Park
34% – City/Major Metro Destination
16% – Theme Park
15% – Beach Destination
In 2021 visitors to North Dakota spent nearly $3 billion dollars…sustaining 2,900 businesses…and generating $248 million in state and local taxes.
