North Dakota’s Board of Higher Education has approved UND’s request to proceed with construction of an addition to the Fritz Pollard Junior Athletic Center.
About $20 million in donated funds and unspent tax-exempt bond proceeds will help offset the estimated $23.5 million construction costs of the 40-thousand-square foot addition.
The second phase of construction at the Pollard Center will include new locker rooms for football and other sports… and replacing the turf and track on the current Memorial Field.
