Major repairs planned for 32nd Ave South

By Doug Barrett Apr 25, 2023 | 8:57 AM

The pothole riddled 32nd Avenue South in Grand Forks will get a construction update later this summer under a cost participation agreement reviewed last night (Monday) by the city council.

The North Dakota DOT wants to move the stretch between I-29 and South Washington from the 2025 construction list to the 2023 construction season.

The $2.28 million dollar project includes concrete panel replacement… asphalt mill and overlay…and ADA ramps. The local share of the maintenance bill is $238,962 dollars.

The project is scheduled to be bid May 12th.
