Grand Forks Police have identified a woman who was arrested after a Thursday afternoon stabbing incident on the city’s north side.
Authorities say 28-year-old Amber Lee Behrens of Grand Forks has been charged with Aggravated Assault – Domestic Violence… Interference with a 9-1-1 telephone call… and Criminal Trespass.
At about 2:40 PM Thursday, police were called to Riverside Manor apartments at 813 Lewis Boulevard.
Officers found a man with a stab wound to his arm. He was transported by ambulance to Altru. Police say he sustained apparent minor lacerations that were non-life-threatening.
Behrens was taken to Grand Forks County Correctional Center.
Authorities are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact the G-F-P-D.
