Defenseman Tyler Kleven, who played the last three seasons at UND, has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the NHL’s Ottawa Senators.
The Fargo native scored 20 goals and 15 assists in 95 career games at UND.
Meanwhile..another UND defenseman, senior Ethan Frisch of Moorhead, signed an amateur tryout agreement with the San Jose Barracuda of the A-H-L….the top farm team of the N-H-L’s San Jose Sharks.
Frisch scored 20 goals and 28 assists for 48 points in 127 games at UND.
