A 14-year old driver of an SUV was killed when the vehicle was struck by a train at a crossing in White Earth (ND) yesterday (Wednesday). According to the North Dakota Patrol the male teen failed to yield at the intersection shortly before 4:00 p.m. The BNSF train struck the SUV on the driver’s side and pushed the vehicle down the tracks. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The NDHP says the rail crossing us marked with stop signs. The accident remains under investigation.
