The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash of a small plane into the Duluth (MN) harbor.
A Minnesota man died in the Friday mishap.
Authorities say the victim was a 52-year-old Hermantown man – the only person aboard. No one else was in the plane at the time of the crash.
St. Louis County Sheriff Gordon Ramsay says assisting agencies included: Duluth Police…St. Louis County Rescue…Duluth Fire…U.S. Coast Guard…and Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
