A 64 year old Ottertail (MN) man was was killed when his snowmobile crashed through the ice on Otter Tail Lake Saturday night.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department received a report shortly before 7:30 p.m. of two sleds and one ATV in the water. Authorities say all but one member of the party was initially accounted for. The victim was rescued from the water and transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No names have been released. The incident remains under investigation.
