Changes coming to GF Public Health COVID testing

Grand Forks Public Health (GFPH) PCR and antigen COVID testing will transition to both tests being processed through testreg.nd.gov beginning Tuesday, January 11, 2023. Free PCR and Antigen COVID testing will continue to be available to the public Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.- 11 a.m. at UND’s Fritz Pollard Jr. Athletic Center, located at 2419 2nd Ave N in Grand Forks.

“We are thankful for the opportunity to partner with Altru when demand for testing was heightened. The partnership allowed for a robust and responsive testing infrastructure with quicker results to identify individuals infected, allowing them to take the safety precautions and communicate with their healthcare providers if needing therapeutics,” said Marcus Lee, Emergency Preparedness & Response Coordinator for GFPH. “Together we were able to conduct over 28,000 PCR COVID tests in-house at Altru’s laboratory.”
