Natural gas prices up as temps plunge

By Doug Barrett Dec 23, 2022 | 8:50 AM

Xcel Energy is warning customers about an increase in natural gas prices as cold weather grips much of the nation. Xcel says the price spikes might last a couple of days as the weather impacts production and demand for gas. Lower your thermostat….
Make sure exterior doors are closed….
Keep filters clean…..
Lower water heater temp….
Improve insulation…
Run ceiling fans clockwise so the warm air is forced down….
