DeRidder helped the Fighting Hawks take five-of-six points at Western Michigan, with a 3-2 shootout victory on Friday, and a 3-0 win on Saturday. He had 51 saves in the series.
DeRidder finished the series with a 0.96 goals against average and a .962 save percentage to hold the Broncos — who entered the weekend as the nation’s top offensive team — to their lowest scoring output over a two-game stretch this season … and fewest goals at home since Jan. 2021.
