A celebration of sorts at the Circle of Friends Humane Society last night (Tuesday). A ribbon cutting ceremony marked the official grand opening of the adoption center at 910 South Washington.
The center opened in September but has been a work in progress as it awaits the arrival of specific pet enclosures for dogs. The new location is larger and will complement the Medical Center on North Washington.
Circle of Friends sees between 800 and 900 animals go through its doors on a yearly basis.
