A Fargo South High School band teacher is in the Cass County Jail charged with corruption of a minor. 43-year-old Sebastian Tackling was arrested and jailed Saturday according to the jail roster.
A Fargo Police Department spokesperson says Tackling was arrested at the police station just after 10 p.m.
Tackling made his first court appearance today (Mon) on two felony charges — corruption of a minor and possession of prohibited materials.
The Fargo Public School District issued a statement saying the allegation was brought to the administration’s attention on Sunday and the district leadership team immediately met and placed Tackling on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
The District said Fargo Public Schools take all allegations of impropriety committed by staff very seriously.
