Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison says his office will hold as many as four public meetings around the state to gather input on the proposed merger between Sanford Health and Fairview Health Services.
The announcement comes as part of the Office’s investigation of the proposed transaction’s compliance with state and federal charities and antitrust laws.
A dedicated web form where all Minnesotans may leave their comments or concerns is also available on the Attorney General’s website.
Last week Sanford and Fairview announced that they intended to merge in 2023. The new entity would be called Sanford Health and run by Sanford’s current CEO.
