Minnesota Senator Mark Johnson of East Grand Forks has some new duties in St. Paul. Johnson has been named the new Republican Senate Caucus Leader.
Johnson says goals moving forward include returning the state surplus back to Minnesotans…public safety…and student success.
Also named to the leadership team were Senator Julia Coleman, R- Waconia, Senator Justin Eichorn, R- Grand Rapids, Senator Karin Housley, R- Stillwater, and Senator Bill Weber, R- Luverne.
The caucus will be naming a Deputy Leader and an Assistant Leader at a later date.
