One shot: double protection. Pfizer and BioNTech have announced that they have begun testing their combined COVID booster and influenza shot all in one. They’re recruiting 160 volunteers to take part in the trials. If successful…they’ll go to the FDA and CDC for approval.
Moderna is testing its own version of a dual protection shot…but there’s no timeline on when such a vaccine might be available.
