Ground was broken Monday on Minot’s new high school.
Minot North High School is scheduled to open in August 2024.
Senator John Hoeven took part in a groundbreaking ceremony.
Hoeven commended city and school officials on their efforts to meet the needs of Minot’s larger population, which has expanded by more than 30 percent over the past two decades.
The school’s athletic teams will be known as the Minot North Sentinels.
