American Crystal Sugar and the grain millers union have reached a new contract agreement.

Both sides have approved a four-year deal at the Moorhead-based cooperative. A tentative deal was reached last week.

Crystal Vice President of Administration Lisa Borgen says the company is very pleased with the agreement.

She says the agreement calls for pay increases of 17% over the term of the contract along with enhanced vacation, time off, a higher pension payout, a new vision insurance plan and other positive employee benefits.
