A 34-year old Bena (MN) woman faces charges in connection with a fatal fire in Beltrami County.
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Department responded to multiple 9-1-1 calls Tuesday night about a trailer fire near Cass Lake. When first responders arrived on scene they found the camping trailer fully engulfed in flames.
The Cass Lake Fire Department extinguished the fire and discovered human remains inside the camper. During the investigation deputies learned that a female had ignited the fire and fled the scene.
Cora Quaderer was arrested in Brooklyn Center on Wednesday and is being held pending criminal charges.
The body was transported to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy and identification.
