UND faculty bus tour hits the road

By Doug Barrett Aug 15, 2022 | 10:43 AM

After hitting the pause button the past couple of years due to COVID the University of North Dakota resumed its New Faculty and Administrators bus tour this morning (Monday).

The three day tour of the state is designed to give participants a chance to learn more about tourism…energy development…business and agriculture. It also gives participants a chance to better understand where many of their students come from.

It will also be the first opportunity for UND President Andy Armacost to lead the tour.  This year’s route will follow a southern route through or near communities such as Carrington, Underwood, Bismarck/Mandan, Medora, Nome (south of Valley City), Gwinner and Fargo.

The event is funded by the UND Alumni Association. It was first introduced in 1990 when Tom Clifford was president of the University.
