A standoff between Grand Forks police and a man wanted on several outstanding warrants ended early this morning.
Officers went to an address at 1108 27th Avenue South around 9:30 p.m. Friday night. Authorities say The individual – identified as Blake Lund – barricaded himself inside. Nearby residents were asked to shelter in place.
Around 1:20 a.m. Lund was apprehended and brought to the Grand Forks County Correctional Center.
The Grand Forks Regional SWAT Teams was activated. There were no reports of any injuries. Residents were allowed to enter the building following the arrest.
