Junior goaltender Harrison Feeney has signed with Bollnas IS in Sweden, forgoing his collegiate eligibility with North Dakota.

Feeney spent the previous three-and-a-half seasons with the Fighting Hawks, joining the team at semester break during the 2018-19 campaign.

He appeared in a pair of exhibition contests in 2019-20, stopping 11 of the 12 shots he saw against Manitoba and USNTDP.

As a junior, the Lafayette Hill, Pa., native earned his first regular season appearance against Miami on Dec. 20, 2020 in the NCHCpod down in Omaha. Over the final three-plus minutes, Feeney turned aside all three shots to close out a 6-2 win over the RedHawks.

Feeney becomes the fourth member of last season’s team to ink a professional contract, joining Jake Sanderson (Ottawa), Connor Ford (Henderson, AHL) and Zach Driscoll (Toledo, ECHL).
