A Grand Forks couple who thought they had lost their wedding photos after a Bismarck studio abruptly closed its doors received a surprise this week while appearing on the Dr. Phil television program.
Brianne and Bryce O’Neill hired Glasser Images to shoot their wedding in July. Not long after the shoot the company closed its doors and posted notice it would not provide refunds.
To make matters worse the couple told Dr. Phil they were asked not to have guests take pictures as it would interact with the professional pictures being taken. Bri went on to say “We can’t redo that day and the memories have been stolen from us.”
Dr. Phil presented the couple with a photo book filled with wedding photos that were retrieved with the help of the company ShootProof.
North Dakota Attorney General’s office has filed civil action against Glasser Images and its owner. To date the A-G says they have received 539 complaints alleging claims of more than $1.4 million dollars. The lawsuit seeks to ban Glasser from providing future photography services…restitution for consumers…subcontractors…and appropriate civil penalties.
