GF motorcycle crash leaves rider injured

A 20-year old motorcycle rider was injured after crashing into a jeep in north Grand Forks last night (Tuesday).

The accident occurred at the intersection of Columbia Road and 2nd Avenue North around 7:00 p.m.  According to Grand Forks police the impact resulted in Blake Krpan of Logansport (IN) being thrown from the motorcycle.  He was transported to Altru Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The driver of the Jeep – 20-year old Adam Hanson of Grand Forks – was not hurt.

Krpan was cited for care required. Hanson was cited for failure to yield at a controlled intersection.
