A new report suggests tourism in North Dakota generated nearly $238 million dollars in tax revenue in 2021.  Visitors to the state spent $2.61 billion dollars.  U.S. Travel reports that North Dakota is currently 4% below 2019 spending levels.   Arrivals to the state – as monitored with GPS technology – show that visitation was up 15.2.  The data was released during this week’s North Dakota Travel Industry Conference in Grand Forks.

During the conference seven Governor’s Travel and Tourism Awards were presented.  The Greater Grand Forks CVB captured the Telegraph Award for Marketing Technology.
