Three men face drug charges in what Moorhead police call the largest fentanyl seizure in Clay County. Authorities made the arrests on Wednesday after learning the suspects were frequently traveling to the Minneapolis area to pick up a shipment of drugs for distribution.
Law enforcement from several agencies attempted two traffic stops on I-94. After a short pursuit the drivers were stopped and the vehicles searched. Officers located 1,091 suspected fentanyl pills and 20 grams of meth.
The suspects were identified as Larry McClendon, age 52, Raphael Murphy, age 36, and Cameron Desjarlais, age 32, all with no permanent address.
