A fire on Saturday afternoon damaged a West Fargo storage complex. The West Fargo Fire Department was notified of the blaze around 2:30 p.m. When crews arrived on scene, flames were visible from multiple storage units. The WFFD began fighting a defensive fire to gain control of the scene.
During the course of the investigation it was determined that one of the storage units appeared to be illegally inhabited. No individuals were found on scene. The West Fargo Fire Department was later notified that individuals were treated at a local hospital for burn injuries.
Multiple storage units sustained significant damage. The cause is under investigation. A damage estimate was not immediately available. No emergency personnel were injured.
