Two men from Winnipeg were injured in a crash near Gardner (ND) early this (Fri) morning.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says it happened around 3:20 AM on I-29.
A southbound semi, pulling a refrigerated trailer loaded with French fries, partialy entered the west ditch.
The driver tried to get the rig back on the road, but the trailer was pulling, causing the truck and trailer to slide sideways, with the trailer in the west ditch, and the tractor partly on the median and road.
The rig then tipped onto its passenger side, skidding on the road and coming to rest in the median facing northbound.
The driver and a passenger (co-driver) sustained minor injuries and were transported by ambulance to a Fargo hospital.
