A 23-year old Donnybrook (ND) man was killed in a pick-up vs semi crash south of Carpio (ND) on Saturday.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the victim was heading north on Highway 52 when he crossed the lane striking the semi head-on. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The 44-year old semi driver was not injured. The accident occurred around 10:15 p.m.
Highway 52 was shut down for a period of time and traffic was re-routed until the scene was cleared.
