Minot police say they’re investigating a fatal shooting as a homicide. Officers responded to an address on the city’s southeast side about 2 a.m. Thursday and found a man had been shot. First responders attempted to save the 42-year-old man, but he was pronounced dead at Trinity Hospital. Police have not yet identified the victim and have not disclosed whether there is a known suspect.
