NDDoH to distribute free at-home COVID-19 tests statewide

The North Dakota Department of Health will make more than 1.5 million at-home COVID-19 test kits available statewide.

The test kits will be available for pickup, at no cost, starting Tuesday, Feb. 15.  It is recommended that citizens pick up tests as needed with a max of two tests per household member.

The tests will be available at ten locations throughout Grand Forks.  The kits were ordered with funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency

North Dakota’s COVID-19 cases continue to fall.  After seeing active counts peak at 12,297 on January 21st the activity has dropped to just over 23-hundred.

The state health department says of the 110 new cases identified today only eight were in Grand Forks County.  In fact only three of the state’s 53 counties are reported double digit positive hits:  Cass…Burleigh… and Ward.
