By Doug Barrett Feb 12, 2022 | 1:01 PM

The Grand Forks Fire Department responded to a call at the Quality Inn around 7:45 this morning.  When crews arrived at 3251 30th Avenue South they discovered flames in the bathroom of room 111.  All hotel guests were evacuated and there were no injuries.

Crews quickly extinguished the fire and cleared the building of smoke.  The GFFD says the bathroom sustained significant damage.  Hotel guests were allowed back in their rooms around 10:00 a.m.

The department responded with five engines…one truck…17 personnel…and one command vehicle.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
