A 25-year old Enderlin (ND) man remains hospitalized after a rollover crash north of Sheldon (ND) early Thursday morning.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says Jesse Schultz was heading north on Highway 54 when he drifted off the road.  The vehicle rolled several times and Schultz was ejected.  The accident occurred around 2:00 a.m.

Authorities say Schultz laid injured in the ditch for about three hours in minus -22 degree weather before being spotted by a passerby.  He was transported to Essentia Health in Fargo with serious injuries sustained in the crash and cold exposure.

Schultz was also charged with DUI.   He was not wearing a seatbelt.
