A jury trial has been scheduled for a Grand Forks man charged with attempted murder.
Hassan Hussein, 29, is accused of stabbing John Bakizuwabo of Grand Forks on Sept. 12, 2021.
Bakizuwabo, then 20 years old, was taken to Altru with a puncture wound to his torso.
Hussein’s jury trial is set to begin on April 26th.
The attempted murder charge is a Class-A felony in North Dakota. If convicted, Hussein faces up to 20 years in prison.
