The North Dakota State Board for Career and Technical Education has awarded funding to three proposed projects in the amount of just shy of $20 million dollars..  The grant required a dollar-for-dollar local match.

The three projects are as follows:  Bakken Skills Center – Watford City…Minot Area Skills Center…and the Southwest Area Career and Technical Education Academy – Dickinson.  Each award totaled more than $6.6 million dollars.

The Career and Technical Education Capital Projects Fund is a grant opportunity, provided by the 67th Legislative Assembly.  Grand Forks is seeking $10 million dollars in the next round of funding.  A decision is expected in March.
