GF Police seek hit-and-run driver

Grand Forks Police are looking for a driver involved in a hit-and-run accident today (Tue).

Police say shortly before 9:00 AM, a Cadillac passenger car was southbound on South 20th Street, but went through a stop sign at the intersection with 40th Avenue South.

A westbound Honda Accord on 40th had stopped for the stop sign, then entered the intersection, when it was struck on its passenger side by the Cadillac, which left the scene.

A passenger in the Accord was transported to Altru with unknown injuries.

Police describe the Cadillac as maroon in color with a tan-colored top, driven by a black man in his 30s.  The car possibly had North Dakota license plates and had front-end damage.   The vehicle was last seen traveling southbound on South 20th.
