A one-vehicle rollover in Grand Forks County this (Wed) morning sent two people to the hospital – one with serious injuries.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says it happened around 9:00 AM on Highway 2, three-and-a-half miles east of Niagara.
A 74-year-old man from Rugby was driving an SUV…and lost control on the frost-and-ice-covered road. The vehicle went into a ditch and overturned.
Troopers say the driver – who was not wearing a seat belt — sustained serious injuries, while the 89-year-old female passenger, also from Rugby, suffered minor injuries.
Both were transported by ambulance to Altru.
Names are being withheld pending notification of family.
